Enjoyment
Pendragon is a very good book, with suspense and great villains[my favorite characters]. He is rather teenage acting, as he is 14, a school jock and straight "A" student. He is a Traveler, someone who travels through flumes in inconvenient places to get to other territories, or planets to stop evil and wars that are caused by Saint Dane, a transforming man who is working to end the good days of Halla, the name for all of time, territories, and space so Pendragon must help his uncle stop Saint Dane. I must read all 8 before I'm able to explain fully. Don't stop reading now though.

Tween friendly
This is not the best for the appropriate records. Right off the back the romance kicks in. A kiss 1 paragraph into the book does not bode well for either enjoyment or tween friendliness. The language is not satisfactory either, even worse than the romance. The author uses cuss words for effect when she doesn't need to, and parents voted no. Violence is slight, but eventful.

A Series of Unfortunate Events
Enjoyment
A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket is a dreary but interesting series. It includes 3 main characters , Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, who were orphaned by a mysterious fire that occurred while they played at the beach. They are sent to their nearest relative, a man called Count Olaf, who is treacherous and plans to kill the Baudelaire's and receive the enormous fortune left behind. Throughout the 13 books, Olaf is thwarted by the siblings, who are accused of murder, theft, disruption of orderly conduct, and other acts of treason that are circled around Olaf. He gathers a group of freakish henchmen, and follows the Baudelaire's to the 13 different homes that Snicket has created for them. We may never know where they'll go to stay.

These books have little or no violence, romance, or inappropriate language in them. They are slightly violent, but nothing ever actually kills. The romance is spoken of thrice, and inappropriate language is limited to" stupid" and"shut up", so my parents and I approve. I may not have mentioned that I for one HATE
mushy gushy romance novels and totally inappropriate language novels, so this is important to me to be rating my total hobby: BOOKS! Read these Lemony Snicket books peeps, and be surprised and amazed!

Eragon
Enjoyment
Eragon is probably my most favorite book that I've read so far. Not only is it a hugely action packed book, it is cheap and in paperback too! In the book itself, there are 497 pages of almost nonstop action and tension. Eragon, a boy of 15, finds a strange stone deep in the mountain range called the Spine. He attempts to trade it, and when his offer is turned down, he takes it home as a trinket. Little does he know that his most loved companion will come from that stone and he will carry on an ancient legacy that started way before his time. He ventures away from his homeland, and is unaware that he may never return.

This book does not have many inappropriate words, but there are a few. You don't need to worry about unnecessary romance either. As far as young adult books go, this has the least amount of inappropriate content that I've seen. He stays about the same age throughout the entire book. I was impressed that there was so little inappropriate language in it and my mom was too. So, you should absolutely get this book, and for about 10 bucks, it's totally worth it!

What inspired me to book blog.
The upbringing of my first blog comes from my dad. He gave me the idea of rating books by their content. I was totally inspired and set to work the next night. I read 24-7, so this isn't difficult. I'm new to this, so any comments would be appreciated. I am very open for suggestions, and I'm anxious to get my first comment. My mom is frugalmom, and she helped as much as my dad. Please recommend books to me, and I'll post them after they are read. This will get easier, so I'll get more interesting posts. Well, so far so good!
